@MostlyHarmless @PensiveTM @RushGirl I didn‘t say I wouldn‘t resist. Where I come from „Antifa“ is an extremist movement. It misses its goals by exaggerating in the opposite direction („When you are a hammer, everything looks like a nail.“) and romantising soviet occupation. Extremist political movements are too similar. A recent Russian-funded demonstration in Berlin (#schwarzerknecht) consisted of radical right and left, and confused people.

Sorry if it seemed like I was questioning your will to stand against extremism. That wasn't the intent of my picture, but here in the US (if that isn't where you are) Antifa is what the far Rech uses as a catch-all for anyone who opposes their extremist ideology. 'Woke" too, but Antifa is another biggie for them.
I use the word all the time at them. Here in the US there is no ambiguity as to what it means.

In Europe it‘s not the same if you are acting against fascism of any political kind (like me) or if you identify yourself as part of the Antifa movement. 🤷♀️ It‘s like not all hackers are part of the Anonymous movement, but everyone can be if they want to.
