@LaughingAtChaos@adhdeanasl As I periodically go through phases of reading post-apocalyptic novels, I understand that everything electronic would cease to work...from mobiles/laptops, modern cars, water pumping stations, power stations etc...so, in less than a week the whole of western civilisation would totally fall apart (bar the Amish, Native Americans and maybe other off-gridders).
@Judeet88@adhdeanasl Yep. A week at best. No gas or diesel means no supply chain, no medications. No pumps means no clean water. A global EMP wouldnât be the finger of god itâd be a booted foot.
@LaughingAtChaos@adhdeanasl I do think finding water would be amongst the easier things to do, and hand-cranked pumps can access gas(petrol)/diesel either from abandoned cars or tanks. Food and meds distribution would have a massive impact though...
