The Republican Party is absolutely fine with Trump’s lawlessness. What offends and disturbs them is that anyone would have the temerity to hold him accountable for breaking the law. He is, after all, a White man, who’s a White nationalist faux Christian. He should be above the law.

@BPStuart they likely think back on their own criminality in business and every other part of their existence and see the writing on the wall for themselves. Trump getting away with it provides a precedent.
