I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I just don't see NSW winning, no matter who comes out on top #NSWVotes
@sortius for those@of us who live up here. This is not comforting 😳 but NSW will not survive a Perrottet win there will be nothing left
@teacherteacher yep, you've just gotta hold your nose and vote ALP, hopefully while preferencing Indies/Greens first 😁
@sortius this is a massive election for my electorate. There’s a very big local issue that’s going to be a very big deal for me personally too should the election go down the way I think it will.
@teacherteacher I think that demonstrates both parties problems; they both know their overarching politics is broken, so everything has been pulled down to ultra-local electioneering
@sortius Nothing has changed   Thirty-five years ago the playwright David Williamson called this beast of a town Emerald City, in his play of the same name. He depicted it as a sparkling metropolis, a city of greed and insatiability; and it was a label, and depiction, that stuck.11 June 2022
@3wombats a good depiction of Sydney. There's certainly a glitter to it all, but it truly is a city of greed and instability
@sortius I can't see the Libs losing because NSW Lab didn't really give an inspiring campaign, but even if they do win, NSW still loses.
@lilstevie yeh, I don't see Labor winning. They offered nothing to fire people up, nothing to inspire anyone
@sortius The whole position seems to be "we're not Dom" which might make some excited, but for the community at large? nope.

@lilstevie Even Dan got that. He actually had some big policies on the table, which forced Matty's little hand.

Dom wasn't even fazed by the ambulance call stuff (which I thought was bullshit and a very VIC Libs line of attack) because of how little ALP put on the table
