Earlier this month an NLRB judge ruled that Starbucks has committed egregious acts of union busting.

The judge found that the company closed a store that was organizing, spied on employees, and even fired workers who were pro-union. Appalling.

@rbreich Is there any talk of a boycott? Seems it was effective with grapes a few moons ago, why not Starbuck's?

@delreyjones @rbreich

Individuals can, and should, boycott.

I don't now use Starbucks, don't buy products from companies donating to the Tories (eg Warburtons), don't buy products from Apartheid Israel, don't watch BBC news (government propaganda), don't read most national newspapers.

Try not to use Amazon, Google products, Microsoft.

If Liverpool can create a "Sun free city" we can all influence the Capitalists agenda.

Believe & act in solidarity.

@rbreich Shorter Robert Reich: Don't patronize Starbucks, they're union-busting evil people.
@rbreich I hope that their incoming CEO Laxman Narasimhan makes it right and improves their relationship with unions. I can't find any indication as to whether he will or not.
