The Halogen lamp works, but it's not a great antenna, LOL. Now to move on to another random piece of metal.

@ai6yr I've got a pair of metal sawhorses that I use to store antennas. Naturally, I'm more interested in a sawhorse dipole than all the antennas stacked on them. We'll find out at April #µFieldDay.

@adamtootle It's pretty resonant on 15m, for some unknown reason. I did use the tuner. 100watts!

@ai6yr I forgot to reply to this the other day but that is awesome! I’ve tried a slinky before but never experimented that much. I know a local ham who used metal window blinds before and made some DX contacts

@ai6yr wire up a tree is one of my go-to POTA setups. One of my brag stories is hitting Italy from my front yard on 20 watts using speaker wire
