She had a D&C, a surgical abortion; it is a procedure that they have been fighting to make illegal for decades.
If the details didn't matter to them when it was another woman, then it shouldn't matter now.
If she actually was not a hypocrite, she would have carried that baby to term and given birth to a stillborn- something that happened regularly 60 years ago and it's why the Greatest Generation fought so hard for abortion rights in the first place.
@aintist @QasimRashid For those who are wondering, an RN can be a LPN or a BSN. The difference matters. LPNs are glorified medical techs that must work under the supervision of a BSN due to their lack of scientific training. A BSN has 2+ years of medical training and is paid 2x as much because they know what they are doing.
The next time you see an supposed RN state something completely incorrect ( like about MRNA vaccines) ask them which one they are. They are almost always an LPN.
@Katrags @aintist @QasimRashid Small clarification here: in some states an RN (registered nurse) does not need a BS in nursing. I am an RN with an Associates degree in nursing (ADN). My state has recently passed new laws requiring new nurses to get a BSN, but people who graduated before it was passed do not need a BSN.
When I went to nursing school we were told it was possible to become an RN in some states without an ADN even. I'm not sure if that's still true anywhere in the US though.
@terradi @aintist @QasimRashid
Which is why you have so many RNs without basic medical knowledge during the pandemic. Those two years between a ADN and a BSN are incredibly important. In most programs, you do not get virology or public health until year 3/4.
Its like the NCLB regulation teachers had to prove they were well qualified; many of the older teachers read at a 6th grade level and could barely keep up with the curriculum.
