I'd like to brag about my wife.

As a librarian she got a grant that has brought wireless hotspots that people can check out to the library. They're always rotating in and out and provide free Internet to people who need it, and they get checked out with the library card just like books.

@Unampho Congratulations to your wife! Who did she get the grant from?

@TheyOfHIShirts

"This grant is made possible by funding from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) as administered by the State Library of North Carolina [...]"

@Unampho Congratulations again, then. IMLS grants are great ones to secure, and I'll bet there's all sorts of really great data to feed back to them about the use and popularity of the hotspots.
