My daughter's Kia car was stolen last Friday; today, Berkeley police informed her they caught the perpetrator. Seems odd how naive some of the perpetrators are, they caught him because he parked the car in front of a house with a Ring/Blink whatever camera. They have not caught on as to how many cameras are out there and they act like they are free to roam.
She now has three clubs on it. She needs a police report to get insurance approval; getting a Kia dealer will take weeks. This will be a massive class action.
@Cliot Yeah you have to have a club or something on it. Those cars have a software flaw that makes them really easy to steal and there are all kinds of videos out there about how to exploit it. The only reliable way to secure it is a club.
