I'm not a big StarWars guy but I don't hate it either. I finished the second episode of Andor yesterday and meh, does this get a lot better or am I just wasting my time?
Alright, y'all (and the sunk cost fallacy) have convinced me to least power through the 3rd episode.
The 3rd episode was better than the first two. I still haven't decided if I'll keep up with it, but glad I finished that one.
Alec Perkins@paul my favorite description of it that I can’t find the source of now is it “takes the empire seriously” in a way the movies never did. And each 3-4 ep arc adds an order of magnitude to that. The third arc (7,8,9,10) is really something and could stand on its own.

@paul haha true, though in the next arc their aim gets a little better. But I mean it gets more into the fascist bureaucrats and shows how dangerous they and the Empire really are, how it _operates_ and wields power at a societal level rather than just brute force. And it shows the burgeoning rebels needing to make unsavory choices.
