TTRPG Character Study

We are researchers from Northeastern University studying the experience of queer play and creation of queer characters in TTRPGs (Table top role playing games) (such as D&D, Cyberpunk Red, etc.). We are looking for people (18+) who have created a queer character or a character that has served for queer exploration in any table top role playing game to participate in a 1-hour video conference (Zoom) interview to share their experiences with their TTRPG characters and walk us through their character creation process. Participants will receive $20 (via Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal) for their time. This is a short survey designed to determine your eligibility to participate in our interview study. Your participation in this screening survey will be handled in a confidential manner. If you are ineligible or do not end up participating, your screening survey will not be retained by the researchers. This study has been reviewed and approved by the Northeastern University Institutional Review Board (#22-10-18). To express your interest, answer the questions and submit your email below.
