@Some_Emo_Chick In circa 1990, members of a band were trying to get comped into the 7th St entry for a show. I don't remember the show as sold out or critically acclaimed.

"But, we're charting!"

And, it was true. They were charting. They just didn't have the cred of local heros who never charted.

I think they paid the $8.

I'd say who, but sadly they never got to an "I told you so" moment where they got the respect they likely deserve. #Minnesota

That was a rare time I interacted with band members who were actually charting.
