@graciegato @bodhipaksa Your instance has not been upgraded to 4.1.0, yet, so editing alt texts is not supported yet.
@graciegato @GreenSkyOverMe If you edit the post, remove the image, and then immediately add it again, you'll be able to add different alt text.
Sue Strong@graciegato @bodhipaksa @GreenSkyOverMe I use Ivory as editing works great in that. I also have Metatext and Mastodon but Ivory is the only one I can edit in.
@graciegato @GreenSkyOverMe Metatext is no longer supported by its creator, so you'll probably need to switch to a new app at some point.
In Metatext, though, what you can do it to edit the post, temporarily remove the image, and then immediately add it again. Once you do that you have the ability to add alt text.
Christine Brösenhuber@graciegato where I live it's rather "pick up your trash", bt I live out in the country where dog poo is considered natural fertilizer. Still, littering is a huge issue here
