Really impressed with the visual quality too.

Actually, I have thought about choosing the #sonyfx3 for my YouTube channel, but I cannot decide if I should save some cash and go for the #sonyfx30, since I will mainly be filming in a well lit studio.

@randahl Thank you for watching! I’d go with the FX30 if you’re just shooting for YouTube on a closed set and don’t need to worry about dynamic range

@rjaymolina thanks RJ. A few day has passed, and I actually ended up choosing the A7 IV because of the larger sensor size.

It was only a little bit more expensive than the FX30, but then I got all the photo capabilities as well plus the electronic view finder. That seemed like great value for money to me.

I would have liked the screen of the FX30 though — because the A7 screen clearly is not bright enough when filming outside.

@randahl Great choice if you’re needing both photo and video! Have you considered an external monitor to solve that screen brightness issue?
