6,000 x $1000 to turn the tote into a co-op sounds would have been rad. but 3,000 for somebody else to own it, sounds perfectly comulent to me.... The state really should be paying to keep it open as a cultural icon tho

I’ve emailed them and said I’d buy 0.11% for $6666.66. Getting like 5000 people to buy 0.1% would be much easier than 50,000 to give them $60

Edit: 10,000 shares at $666 for 0.1% of the tote….. I know a ton of people who would take that deal

@shlee Agreed. This seems a textbook case for a dual-class membership #coop where the workers have most capital and votes while users have many smaller shares in order to benefit from the services provided. Example from #Finland is #OmaMaa:
