Bonfire Peaks: Lost Memories is very hard. I just managed to crack Nest but oh my gawd.

I think I just discovered a particular *aspect* of the new vertical arrow mechanic in #BonfirePeaks which has got me raising eyebrows much like a mechanic of "boxes OK on weak tiles" had in the original game. We'll see...

(This is Small Hill. I have not solved Small Hill.)

astral plane #BonfirePeaks
Shell Game is a super-satisfying #BonfirePeaks level
Wow, there are a lot of levels here in the #BonfirePeaks DLC

This is one of those #BonfirePeaks DLC levels where this happens:

Step 1. Uh, oh-kayyy

Step 2. Hmm, maybe--

Step 3. Nope, I don't even

Step 4. ABORT ABORT

On the other hand, here's Fender Bender from the #BonfirePeaks DLC which is satisfyingly crazy. If you *see* the solution, it's not too difficult to pull off.

I loved this one. Ton of levels where you go "ohhhhhhhh".

#indiegame #puzzlegame

"That's it, I think I've done it! I think I-- oh."

#BonfirePeaksDLC

Well, that's Abridged sorted. Time to go back to Small Hill. Turns out this requires (at least in my universe) a lot of *highly* *finnicky* movements.

"Small" Hill indeed. Wot a laff. #BonfirePeaksDLC

Right, time to stop today. I found a level called "Side by Side" which, on first glance, is identical to every other level: impossible. #BonfirePeaks #BonfirePeaksDLC

I'm fine, really. Just fine.

#BonfirePeaks DLC

37 levels currently down.

The level "Drop Box" in #BonfirePeaks DLC is just ridiculous. It's even more ridiculous that I worked it out. I guess I started from realising the purpose of the spikes (aha! that will fix XXX issue) but the oh-so-fucking-careful-please movements required from that point is insane. How does a level like this get made? How? HOWWWW?!?

40 levels down.

And this was the moment I completed the really obnoxious level Car Park. It took me a few tries before I realised what sort of Tetris piece I needed to complete the level and even then it didn't seem to be a done deal.

And with that I was able to see the game credits.

But with only 41 levels down. There are a few more to go before I can say I'm done with the #BonfirePeaks DLC.

Shooting Hoops is still going very well in the #BonfirePeaks DLC

Completely different strategy brings home the bacon in Shooting Hoops! #BonfirePeaks DLC

aha got you at last

Working mainly on the optional puzzles (only one left behind - Spiky Tower eludes me)

I was most pleased in slowly devising a crazy Alleyway plan which I didn't think all the way through until it came together. You know those moments where "I hope I can do this...?" and you figure it out on the spot. These #BonfirePeaks DLC levels are gettin' mighty evil...

47 down

Slower and slower progress... I toyed with Undock for awhile but got nowhere. Crazy ideas but I couldn't think how to make them work.

So I moved to Raised Altar. Crazy ideas won the day. Some precarious movements after this breakthrough moment though.

48.

Been doing the Lord's work here. I found the "solution" to this level after five minutes but the solution seemed impossible to assemble. If I do *this* after arranging everything like *this* then... I die instead of solving the puzzle.

And just as I was about to quit for today a batshit idea grew from the batshit tree in my head.

And all was solved.

52.

The #BonfirePeaks DLC continues. 55. I have 2 left. Undock and Sushi Belt. I haven't gone back to Undock for awhile but Sushi Belt always feels on the verge of solution. I have two ways to get hold of the junk box but both appear to blow away the solution for getting around the "Sushi Belt".

This was the closet I got to a compromise, actually had the burn box in my hands right next to bonfire.

I should probably go back to Undock :S

Woohoo - it's been awhile but I went back to the #BonfirePeaks DLC this lunchtime and solved Undock - I had been hovering around the correct solution for ages but somehow didn't quite put the pieces together right in my head.

That just leaves... Sushi Belt :S
