Got a question, would you be willing to consider increasing the character limit for messages on this instance?
I seem to tend to write on the larger side of things, and there's been a couple of times I've edited a message to work around/with the current limit.
My pinned profile introduction message comes to mind.
I wish Mastodon had a thing for those cases where you could allow it to automatically split your message into a longer set of replies.
I've had a few longer replies myself (not too many) where having it just split it up for me would save me a few minutes of copy / paste / hunt for the next message to reply and copy paste again lol.
(Even though coming from birdsite, this is a big increase)

Many times I think it can be cool, but I use it too little times to think it's better than multiple chained messages.

Yes, I hope this feature can exist, I'm just too ignorant about Ruby to suggest an implementation.
