Promise I won’t start ranking #Goose on a regular basis. Just want to throw this out there:

Goose Cap Theatre #RANKED

This isn’t to say Weds was bad, and the Drive might be better than anything played last night. But last night was a band that was way more comfortable, assertive, and everything came off as effortless. Just a brilliant show.

@chopaganda Superb Tumble last night, always one of my favs. I was running on a couple hours of sleep and felt a little lost towards the end of Madhuvan, like they were searching for dissonance in the midst of peaks but overall a fantastic night and great energy.
@noahitall Someone in the audience kept screaming during the Madhuvan in an incredibly obnoxious way. Given how little room ambience there was in the audio feed, she must have been LOUD. Definitely looked like the band members got distracted a few times and it was a train wreck toward the end of the jam.
@chopaganda I’m a little torn between the two. I might prefer night one. But for me I have to listen back multiple times. I’m susceptible to both positive and negative attendance bias. But yes, last night kicked ass
@Backeasyjim For me, it simply comes down to the band on Wednesday not sounding nearly as confident. There was so much damn swagger last night.
@chopaganda @Backeasyjim major swag. They felt like they owned the room last night. Powerful
Agreed. Last night had swagger and several stand out jams. Tumble was fantastic. Borne had a sick, kind of dark jam (albeit slightly ripcorded) Rockdale raged, Rosewood was very good too with a different type of jam than usual. Can’t wait to see the next 3 nights.
