guess it's true what they say – you can't get real classical music done on an iPad

@viticci Conductor!…what’s a Conductor?.
@viticci Coincidence that is launches that same day as the Sonos Era range? I think not… Era 300 + Apple Classical = spacial music heaven.
@viticci It's causing devastation over here.
@sam @viticci funny stuff. Classical music people have a great sense of humor 😂
@sam @viticci Everybody needs to calm down, have a chai. *coughs* Key to this issue is whether Apple is committed to simultaneous iOS and iPad releases.
@sam @viticci I'm ravelling in all these puns
@sam @viticci sounds more like a cacophony.
@sam @viticci The iPad team tried to argue the case for having an app too, but they just didn’t have the perfect pitch.
@viticci can’t believe it’s been 8 years since they launched the first iPad Pro and we still don’t have any Pro apps from Apple on the iPad. Not to mention Xcode.

@viticci it's honestly sad that a company that has made so many products over the years dedicated to music is paying less attention to it than ever before.

apologies for the self promotion, but i coincidentally released an update to my new Apple Music player @albums that includes iPad support. would love if you'd check it out and let me know what you think! i have a lot more planned for it, and hope to pick up some of the slack that Apple has left.

@viticci FWIW, nor the Mac... 😢
@petergarner @viticci Let's hope they're making a Catalyst or similar app for iPad and Mac. My guess is there's a non-trivial chunk of classical listeners who enjoy extended listening at their desk.
@viticci what on earth is going on over there. The iPad is nearing a crisis.
@viticci I suppose that's because of market share. iPad is one quarter of iPhone, Mac one quarter of iPad sales in 2022, supposedly. It makes sense to pick the most popular OS first. And then let it wither like most Apple software projects (iWorks, Books, etc.).
