@atomicpoet @ivory @mammoth @fediversenews I wonder if we’ll see a spectrum develop in terms of the alignment between an app and one or more instances. Mammoth is one to one. This is apparently unaligned. But you could imagine some scenarios where some feature or set of values or motives creates relationships between app developers and instances/platforms.

As soon as it turns into a lobster pot (tar pit? Hotel California?) then that’s a real problem.
