If they put me in charge of a Scream film, I would make it an anthology with 5-6 different production teams, and each short film would have the same rough structure of "someone at home being stalked by a killer" and the framing narrative would be that each one ends with a title card and pull back to reveal the next one starts with the last one being watched on TV by the new characters. Basically the opening of Scre4m stretched to fill 90 minutes.
