Turns out, the disabled guy Elon Musk just shit all over was Iceland's 2022 Person of the Year, who took his earnings from the sale of his company to Twitter to build wheelchair ramps around his country. https://www.icelandreview.com/news/haraldur-thorleifsson-sweeps-person-of-the-year-awards/
Haraldur Þorleifsson Sweeps Person of the Year Awards

Haraldur Þorleifsson, known as Halli, has swept several Person of the Year awards in Icelandic media. Ramp Up Iceland...

Iceland Review
At the recommendation of my attorneys, who told me I actually do owe him $100M per the terms of his contract,

@selfagency

There seem to be a lot of actions Elon has taken based on something he was told that turned out to be wrong 🤔 Not exactly leadership qualities if he just takes stuff he's told as true without looking into the issue before taking action.

@Catmama @selfagency I lean towards those things were never said. He wasn't told anything, he just chose to be an asshole, and when he needed a scapegoat, then magically "someone" said "something" that made him act wrongly

@ATLeagle

You are probably right. Shades of Don the Con.

@selfagency

@selfagency @juergen_hubert

At the risk of repeating myself. Musk is a terrible human being.

@selfagency do we actually have a source for the 100M number other than the guy on Twitter who pulled it out of his ass ("made an educated guess")?

@selfagency

He's doing the Trump schtick, but he not a good poster. Just a pathetic reply-guy

@selfagency I looked up “punk ass bitch” on Urban Dictionary and there was a picture of Elon.
@selfagency could not have created a better contrast
@MattFerrel @selfagency Damn, elno should be so very, very ashamed of himself.

@selfagency He's nothing if not on-brand.

Next time one of his rockets go up, it needs to have another one of his Teslas in it, with him in the driver's seat.

@selfagency
Only because it couldn’t be a blind and deaf 5 year old girl with a terminal disease. Or maybe that’s next. I sure am glad I’m watching this train wreck from a safe distance.
@leo I'm starting to think that this Elon guy is just a wee bit of a asshole.
@selfagency he's also one of the most respected designers in the tech industry
@selfagency Elon is one of the primary driving forces that compels me to believe we’re living in a failing (failed?) simulation. These characters just aren’t believable anymore. No real person would think for a moment that this Elon character is realistic.
@selfagency and I'd imagine has a very well written employment contract for continuing to work for them as part of the sale of his company. Elmo seems to be trying to make a sequel to Brewster's millions. Maybe he likes putting his little suit on to go to court?
@selfagency Wow ... We really need more people with real hearts like Halli...
@selfagency Whatever he does next, I want to work there

@selfagency Brilliant post. Thank you for sharing.

Honest decent guy who made money but paid his way with taxes... as all wealthy should.

Taxes are about sharing. Giving back some of what you have been fortunate to acquire. People who dodge taxes with various loopholes (or though offshore accounts) are scum imho.

@Godfrey642 @selfagency I love this guy
@MattFerrel @selfagency Brilliant. That's Scandinavia for you. 🥰🥰🥰

@MattFerrel @Godfrey642 @selfagency

This guy is so much richer than Elon - in human decency.

@selfagency I hate to say these foul words… but… Elon is a real fuck up 🥹
@selfagency
You can't even make this stuff up.

@selfagency

Clearly, the Icelandic government should have been doing that so, while it was a Very Good Thing to do, it's another example of a private citizen stepping in where a government fails.

@beccanalia @selfagency which bit? Expanding the number of disabled ramps? Small companies often can't afford to comply with, and therefore aren't compelled to follow, disabled access laws.
