The UW Recycling office is having a trash art contest and I’m trying to figure out something cool to make using scrap yarn and some of the huge amount of plastic waste we generate in lab. I’m pretty pleased with my first test but a little stumped on a pattern to make. 7x11 pixels is not very much to work with!

@DunhamLab fascinating to think about this AM. It could be part of a connected piece - a mobile - plastic pipette, papers, film, Styrofoam boxes (these get tiny when you autoclave them). I can't wait to see the finished art.
