Is it hot at the #SydneyRoadStreetParty?

Temp reading 3.15pm: ambient air 34.8C in shade. Asphalt road 45.7C , concrete 42.2C (both in sun but has been some cloud cover)

At the #SydneyRoadStreetParty I Spoke to a person from Royal Park Tennis Club about Sand filled artificial turf. They have stuck with clay surfaces. Synthetic grass tennis courts last about 5 years, have #Microplastics loss and end of life disposal issue. So why is #MerribekCouncil so keen on #Fakegrass for tennis for community courts? #syntheticTurf

@CAMerribek @caz we have a leaflet on Transport policy for Merribek for the climate emergency although we haven’t put the detail about rat runs in. I cycled along Breese yesterday
