Last week, as we reported on "It Could Happen Here," Christian Nationalists are protesting drug stores in a push to ban access to abortion pills, and thanks to pressure from Republican attorney generals, Walgreens announced that it will now "not dispense abortion pills in several states where they remain legal...either by mail or at their brick-and-mortar locations in those states...The list includes several states where abortion in general, and the medications specifically, remain legal — including Alaska, Iowa, Kansas and Montana."

@igd_news Walgreens got massive handouts from the federal government as a preferred distributor of COVID vaccines and testing. I’m not sure how much they’re still getting with the state of emergency ending, but they benefit greatly from corporate welfare. Will they face any financial consequences for undermining federal law and human rights?

@igd_news caught wind that there were some OTG protests at walgreens in vancouver, WA today. this is a state that is making access more available, and they're still harassing pharmacists here.
