Today I shared my Hazel setup, including a really slick (IMO) usage of @viticci’s new Apple Frames update!

One of macOS’s hidden gems of automation

@matt Thank you! Love it.
@viticci Thank you for the shortcut! I don’t understand how you did it, so I chose to believe it’s magic.

@matt @viticci

I'm watching it now. As soon as I saw "convert from .webp" pop up, I went to their site and bought a licence for it immediately.

Your video hasn't even finished playing yet. 🙂

@matt great video, i’ll definitely check other things on your channel.
@matt thanks for the video Matt! You could even go further with Apple Frames new API and automatically let it quick save the framed file so you don’t need to select that anymore :)
@matt @viticci I love Hazel and have even made a presentation about it back when I was in school :D
@moritzdietz @viticci Nice! Any chance you have one automation set up you're really proud of? Everyone seems to do something else.
@matt @viticci Phew… back then, which is more than 10 years now that you made me think about it, I had tons of rules to manage all sort of things. Copy files in and out of folders shared via Dropbox and what not. Also a bunch of rules that ran Bash scripts and sync downloaded TV shows and movies to my NAS. Time flies! Now it's mostly just shoving files from my Desktop into other folders in my home directory. Wish it was more exciting than this, sorry.
