At its peak 357 such schools kidnapped Indigenous kids & abused & tortured them to death.
The right wing extremist push to break down church state separation is not new, it's a revival of the atrocities of yesteryear.

This is the sort of history Govs. DeSantis and Abbott would banish from classrooms.
It's okay for nonwhite children to have lived through such atrocities, but we can't upset the tender feelings of white kids.
Of course, even they are fair game when the gunman shows up at the school.
