With #obsidian 1.1.15 we also made lots of improvements to Canvas
- Added settings for display and behavior
- Canvas content appears in global search results
- Resize multiple cards at once
- Block-based cards
- Background images

Canvas works with Apple Pencil in that you can use it to move cards and create relations between them. Obsidian is also compatible with Scribble so you can use Pencil handwriting to “type”. Canvas does not support freeform drawing/writing yet, for that you would need to use the Excalidraw plugin.
