I was having some problems with 3D prints lately and I finally bit the bullet and washed the print surface with dish-soap and water and it fixed every problem I had, even ones I didn't think were related to it.

Lesson learned. Never, ever touch your print surface.

@starsider @the_nerdskull I have found a thin applied layer from an Elmer’s school glue stick, on a glass print surface, is *amazing* for getting prints that stick while printing but come off relatively easily after cooling.

Use gloves for that...

@the_nerdskull Filaments also leave like a residue behind. IPA before every print, soap and water weekly.
