Seriously, though: this can actually explain why Khan is a different race in TOS, the Kelvinverse, and SNW: if “Khan” is actually “Project Khan” from the “Noonien-Singh Institute”, he could actually be a *different person* in each timeline, as the project started at different times in each case. (Okay, the Kelvinverse still needs some explaining for that to work, but you get the point.)

"Be kind" is not a complete thought. Be kind to who? And don't say "Be kind to everyone!🤗" Because it's not possible to be kind to everyone.
Mr. Rogers is often held up as the example of someone that was kind to everyone. But even he roasted racists! He was unsympathetic to bigots who wanted to hold on to America's tradition of segregation. Something, something, paradox of tolerance.
"Be kind" is often the coward's way out of speaking up for those that need defending.

Proper credit goes to @neroden for originally pointing this out; I think he’s onto something here, and I LOVE using the disingenuous literalism of those assholes against them.
I am dead fucking serious here. We actually only have five Justices on the Supreme Court right now. That’s what a literal reading of the Constitution says, and from what I’ve heard those guys are really big on originalism so you’d think they’d be all for that interpretation, right? 😏
FACT:
- The Constitution states that “The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour”
FACT:
- Alito and Thomas both have *documented* evidence of accepting bribes from billionaire Republicans
THEREFORE:
- by a strict — one might even say “originalist” — interpretation of the Constitution, neither of them have been Justices of the Supreme Court since they began accepting bribes, and all votes they have cast in that time should be nullified.
