Texas doctors are having to tell women, "I've heard traveling to Colorado is really nice this time of year"

@drewharwell Consider it medical tourism. Only not as far as Bangkok...
@drewharwell it's too bad so much of Texas is so far from a helpful border.
@geographile @drewharwell this does make me wonder what the state of abortion in Mexico is
@ruthan @drewharwell variable, they're are federal so states decide for themselves. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion_in_Mexico

@drewharwell New Mexico is pretty nice, too. (And, no, you don’t need a passport!)

#ABQ #NewMexico #healthcare

@drewharwell c’mon, Colorado is nice any time of year. No matter your… personal circumstances
@drewharwell - it’s amazing that they’d have to say that at all. Society is screwed...
@drewharwell Various parts of #Oregon are nice too😉
@UpstartCrow @drewharwell TBH, outside of here in Portland, various parts are like Texas in a number of ways, too.
@drewharwell only for those who can afford the travel…..
@drewharwell I listen to that segment on NPR yesterday. Very well done. It really highlighted the problems women are facing in Texas. The fact that doctors need to talk in code is ridiculous.

@drewharwell I'm certain a healthy minority of women who have to leave texas for an abortion will continue to vote Republican.

After the snowstorm blackouts failed to knock Abbott off, I have zero expectations of Texas voters.
