Audio-only meetings allow you to have a reasonable barrier between work and your personal space, and it’s beneficial for mental health.

Don’t let your employer pressure you into always having your camera on. Take care of yourself first.

@dreamwinder @derPUPE I look at it differently. It’s a trade-off for working at home. If I were in the office, I wouldn’t get to hide in a private space and avoid seeing anyone all day. When I communicate with someone, I prefer to see them and for them to see me. I want to see their body language, their facial expressions—and them mine. Just like if we were meeting in person. Clear communication is easier that way.
