My passive-aggressive out-of-channel request of the day: Please stop using @everyone / @all on every message you share in your work discussion groups for shit that just doesn't require EVERYONE's attention immediately. Please? #WhatAnnoysMe
If by β€œHold” you mean take a moment to reflect on your poor customer service and how I should take my business elsewhere? Then yes, I’ll hold.
I watched s02e02 last night, and it completely wrecked me. I'm just...off today.
There should be a chapter in The Design of Everyday Things devoted to this dial.
[Yelling at the clouds:] YOU DON'T USE AN APOSTROPHE TO MAKE A PROPER NOUN PLURAL!!!
Has anyone thought of doing a β€œshop in” at Tesla? Have a bunch of people around the country going into all the Tesla dealerships on a specific day and spend hours test driving and discussing options, working out pricing. Then just leave telling them you were never really interested. You just wanted to waste their time because DOGE. [ooh, bonus points that Siri wanted to AutoCorrect DOGE to douche!] #resist
I mean, I don't believe these events are in any way related, but I do relish the idea that JD will, for likely the rest of his life, have to repeatedly utter the phrase, "no, I did not murder the Pope."
My favorite Easter candy: malted mini robin's eggs and black jelly beans!
I'd like to find a way to filter out screen-capped posts from other social networks. They're stressing me out. I'm afraid it will mean unfollowing some folks I otherwise enjoy hearing from. 😦
When I was young, the church taught me the lessons of the Bibleβ€”to be kind, to be forgiving, and to help those in need. Those ideas are now decried by many as "radical" or "woke." I'd like to believe that the Easter holy days might make people think more about how they perceive and treat others. But I'm not optimistic.
