@aimee You remind me of a young woman having a loud conversation on a cell phone some years ago. People were staring at her, it was so loud, and she had an annoyingly nasal voice.

Apparently someone sitting close to her said something, because she said, even more loudly, into her phone, "Oh, my GAWWWD! Someone just told me I have an ANNOYING VOICE!"

There were giggles and a smattering of applause.
