I sometimes wondered why buses on my route often don’t have their live tracking showing on the Transit app. Yesterday I learned that they drop off the tracking if they are 10 minutes late! That’s pretty annoying on a long route where the bus only runs hourly and often gets a bit behind- I still want to know where it is! Thought I’d alert other #Ōtepoti people who don’t know. #BusTracking
Here’s a screenshot of the message about it - check the alerts on the app. You can look at the ORC website for cancellations etc but I don’t imagine that updates in real time about our bus running 11 minutes late 🤷🏻♀️
Also interesting to note that one reason behind the current bus delays is “more cars on the road”. #TooManyCars 😡
