Some of the explanations that have been formulated to explain the many contradictions in the Christian bible, and why some parts should be ignored while others are obeyed, are pretty amazing. I guess that could be called faithsplaining.

They repeat them over and over in the hope that will make them more true, and in the minds of the believers, it does!
