In November in Western Australia, solar and wind power had higher #capacityFactor than coal and gas. Coal CF was less than 20% so even #RooftopPV was higher. Reasons were high PV penetration and coal shortages.

@EarthOrgUK i believe (energy intensive) industry will adopt weather-dependent working hours and spur demand flexibility, as production is cheaper when abundant solar and wind pushes down power prices.
