I got the Alpine Loop band for my Apple Watch Ultra and, well, I immediately prefer this one to the Ocean band I initially got. Super comfortable, love the color, mechanism is great, and it's much easier to adjust. Recommended.
@viticci This is my go to for the Ultra as well and I love it. Good color choice too 😁
@matt @viticci I’m hoping we get some more ultra bands this spring.

@matt @viticci I’m planning on picking up an Ultra soon to replace my S4 - do you know if can you wear the alpine band in a swimming pool similar to how you can with the Velcro sport loop bands?

Also curious, can you say if the Ultra has a stronger haptic engine than the regular watches?

@edmistond @matt @viticci the Apline loop is not great for water in my experience. Seems to take a while to dry. It absorbs sweat too during workouts. I just picked up the Ocean band for this reason.
@superdavey @edmistond @viticci It does hold onto some water, but I am used to the sport loops, which take like 2 days to dry out, so this is great for me 😋
@edmistond @matt @viticci On the haptic engine piece it feels stronger. I can have gloves on, or be in the middle of a bike ride and definitely notice when it goes off. It’s powerful enough to wake me up from a deep sleep so that’s saying something. :D
@realmac @matt @viticci That’s why I was wondering - I’m deaf and was using my watch for my alarm for a long time but now I’ve learned to sleep through it ☹️
@matt @viticci I have the same band as well. Also little recommendation—the leather loop bands look excellent with the Ultra. I have umber and midnight leather loop I go back and forth with.
@dominocollege @matt @viticci I have the black leather loop on my black S8 and I LOVE it. So easy and comfortable.

@dopeyeyes @dominocollege @viticci I love the leather loops on the normal watches, but the Ultra just makes them look so thin on me 😂

It’s not bad by any means, I just dig the wider bands with the much wider Ultra personally.

@matt @dopeyeyes @viticci might depend on your wrist size?
