@jaykuo Good rundown. Putin has single-handedly not only united NATO, he has also displayed for the world how utterly terrible his military is – both the machinery and the soldiers. These are turtles that cannot be put back in their cage, ever. It's also abundantly clear that even if he could occupy all of Ukraine, the Ukrainians would make the Russian's adventure in Afghanistan look like a walk in the park.

When did we stop saying "first anniversary"? "anni-" means year, as in "annual". Why say it twice?
