Steve Jobs would have been 68 years old today. Here's what I wrote about him, "Memories of Steve," back in 2014:

Memories of Steve

@donmelton Thanks for this! It's wonderful. I only have a few memories of interacting with Steve Jobs myself since I only saw him a few times other than with crowds at conferences. I did, though, have dinner alone with him once in his hotel room when the other attendee didn't show. I last spoke with him at his last WWDC closing a loop that started with VisiCalc (http://danbricklin.com/log/2011_03_09.htm#jobs2011). I got to tell him I was an iPad developer. He always treated me well, even when I said things I'm sure he didn't like. May his memory be a blessing.

@danb Thank you and you are very welcome! ❤️ And I cherish my memories of him just as you do.

@donmelton @danb Met Jobs several times but always at official functions so never talked for long.

Except for one time.

He and his lovely wife were on 5th Avenue in NYC during a Macworld Expo. He was pointing at the building across the street, talking to Laurene. I walked up to him, introduced myself and we chatted about Expo. We talked for a few minutes and I walked away VERY happy. 😃

That was 2003 - he was showing her where the 5th Ave Apple Store was going to be. 🥰

@KingShawn @danb That’s a great story!
@donmelton @danb Thanks! It wasn’t until 2007 I realized what he had been doing. 😁
