It’s not about personal beliefs. It’s about alienating all of the LGBT+ community when you’re running for the highest job in the country, supposedly representing all of us.

If they’re private and personal beliefs - and they won’t affect how you do your job - then shut up about it and keep them private. If you choose to share them publicly during a leadership race, I’m gonna suspect you can’t keep the two separated and I will not to support you based on that. 🤷🏻‍♂️ #SNPLeadershipRace #KateForbes

It’s all a big gaslighting exercise. Has anyone stopped to think why LGBT+ ppl do not trust devout religious ppl in positions of power? It’s not like history hasn’t shown us time and time again that first opportunity we’ll be thrown under the bus. This false victimisation is bullshit. Religious ppl are far from being oppressed. It’s deflection from their constant oppression of minorities as a default. They’ve never atoned for their mistakes in the past and we won’t just ‘get over it’.

@ricardojpl They go on like they weren’t evil to LGBTQ+, I remember what they were like to gay and bi guys, not people wanna lie Christianity and Forbes are victims when they are the perpetrators and bigots, screw that, as far as I’m concerned Christianity is evil, so sick of seeing religious evil being back thanks to transphobes, farron even appeared to try to lies he’s a victim when it’s plain he considered us evil
