Ada Worcester 🏳️⚧️i just want to say "fuck off" to news coverage of the so-called "drag ban" bills that acts like they're just banning drag shows. no, those fucking bills are attempts to outlaw trans existence. we know how it'll be acted on, because we know how it _used_ to be acted on. it is literally outlawing trans people, couched in the _language_ of being against drag shows with minors. arrrrgggghhhh
i should add, just to be clear, that drag shows for minors are awesome and i am also against banning those

build up a strawman issue that your average person might agree with, but is really just a thinly veiled "trans people are all [...]"; present a solution to that specific problem; implement a solution that's somehow, inexplicably, 100% just "trans people aren't allowed to exist"
