Ted Ross as The Cowardly Lion. He was in nearly every major Black broadway music in the late 60s-mid70s (Buck White (1969), Purlie (1970-1972), Raisin (1973) and The Wiz (1975)) and reprised his role in the 1978 film “The Wiz”
