I was on MSNBC last night to discuss my recent thread describing Fox not as a news organization, but a "resentment machine."

Here's the clip of the interview: http://on.msnbc.com/3Iin3RG

One-on-One with Jay Rosen

Former President Trump and conservative media are using the Ohio train derailment to bash the White House response and rev up their MAGA base. Professor Jay Rosen sits down one-one with Stephanie Ruhle to discuss.

MSNBC
@jayrosen_nyu I saw that last night. You did well.
@jayrosen_nyu a "resentment machine" is ENTIRELY more accurate than their misnomer of Fox "News"
@SesameSquirrel I just call it Fox. Lawrence O'Donnell does the same.
@jayrosen_nyu
Thanks for making that interview available.
@jayrosen_nyu that was great, but I'm sorry; youre dead wrong about the j6th tapes and tucker. Allowing them to solely create a narrative, based on cherry picked excerpts, is going to have extraordinarily damaging repercussions and make it incredibly difficult to refute and disprove, after the fact. That's why mccarthy has done this, and I hate to say it, but it's as clever as it is nefarious and destructive.
@jayrosen_nyu in fact, we've been here before, and have witnessed how this turns out.
See: BLM 'riots', 'total anarchy' and 'cities being burned to the ground' summer of 2020. Magas still claim these to be fact, to this day.
@jayrosen_nyu So why don't we sue Jim Jordan under FOIA aand demand he hand us a copy of those tapes?
