Sean@MattGrande I'm pretty sure you're not a moron! The Mastodon defaults have pretty low media size allowances, and (I'm pretty sure) I haven't touched them.
I'll see if I can increase the allowed size locally + check what the other instances are expecting in terms of video.
@MattGrande The default locally is 80MB for a video, but I think 40MB is standard across the fediverse. So any videos need to be compressed tight.
