🤦‍♀️ Yes she was.

Michael Bromwich:

She was a reckless idiot for doing what she did.

Robert Costa:

News: CBS News has learned that lawyers close to several GOP witnesses in #Fulton Co. investigation are preparing to move to quash any possible indictments by DA based on the public statements by the #forewoman of the special grand jury, per two people familiar with the discussions #Georgia #Trump

More from Bromwich:

If she did this in the federal system, she would be prosecuted.

David Axelrod:

Weird. Does anyone one recall the foreman of a grand jury, particularly in a consequential case, doing a media tour BEFORE any indictments are made?!?
Like, who IS this woman??

@GottaLaff perhaps this was well pre-arranged...and we will only find out in a year or two
@Bellison22 I think that's a stretch.
@GottaLaff She appeared to me to be "a bear of very little brain" and I wondered if hers was the highest IQ on the special grand jury.
@Atticus1956 She didn't seem stupid, just naive, swept up, passionate, needs to feel relevant.
@GottaLaff True. Many times I mistake or mischaracterize naiveté.
@GottaLaff This was my immediate impression. I was pretty aghast to hear her blathering about the case so publicly, as aired on Lawrence’s show last night. Incredibly foolish and irresponsible to gush like a teenager about a case of such consequence. It was to the point that it really seemed intentional like sabotage.
@JenX I don't think it was intentional sabotage. I think she was naive, foolish, excited to feel relevant, swept up in her "duty" to serve, and as you said, irresponsible. Lawrence's show was great.
@JenX @GottaLaff Like her talking about what is obvious to EVERYONE in the world is the issue. I choose to consider the fact that their report had been out for a WEEK and no indictments. It reeks of a coverup, and I’m sure the powers in Georgia would love to blame the grand jury foreperson rather than the fact that that call was BLATANTLY ILLEGAL and it’s been over TWO YEARS OF ZERO CONSEQUENCES for the GOP. Keep talking sister, it’s the only action we will see.
@kthornton Of all times to accuse someone of a cover-up, choosing to go after Fani Willis is the worst choice. She's done nothing but play hard and tough and is the first one to do so. @JenX
@GottaLaff @JenX it’s been TWO years and two months. and the judge obviously knows more about this than any of us, so does the jury foreperson. I choose to trust her over any prosecutor at this point. Two YEARS. And it’s Georgia.
@kthornton It's also Fani Willis. I have confidence in her. @JenX
@GottaLaff @JenX I don’t know how much friction she is getting, but i trust her to do what she can. but, because of this jury foreperson, I now have way greater faith that if it does get covered up again, at least America will find out about it this time.
@kthornton If there's a cover up (I don't sense one in this case at all), then I'll support her opening her big mouth all she wants. But now wasn't the time. @JenX
@kthornton Btw, on a purely personal level, I was thrilled to hear from her. But that's my emotions speaking, not my good sense. @JenX
@GottaLaff @JenX and this is not about Fanni Willis. I have no idea what kind of headwinds Georgia is getting, she is getting g from folks far more powerful than Ms. Willis. Bravery is in short supply it seems. I believe that this Foreperson is sending a message. “If you don’t indict, We WILL TELL AMERICA WHAT HAPPENED.”. and that is a first. and a good thing, i choose to believe. I choose to trust ordinary Americans to do what is right.
@GottaLaff @JenX and after six years of zero leaks, zero bravery, zero prosecutions despite the six years of Trump crimes in fro to the world, I respect that. Call me a dreamer, but someone needs to hold these people accountable to enforce our laws, and if it is a normal American woman who got selected to be on a grand jury in Georgia, well, that makes some poetic sense to me.

@kthornton Poetic doesn't play well in a world where you need to keep your mouth shut at the right times and open it at the right times. This wasn't the right time.

As for zero prosecutions? Do you know how hard it is to get ANY conspiracy convictions, let alone multiples? VERY. They're making progress, nailing down testimony and evidence. Hang in there. @JenX

@GottaLaff @JenX she didn’t say a single thing we and the world don’t already know, and she spoke legally and was within the rights of the grand jury process, and Georgia law.
@kthornton That's what I said. That' doesn't mean it was the right thing to do. @JenX
@GottaLaff @JenX the judges orders to release information we should worried. It’s easy for those outside of the process to be critical, especially when trump and the gop have successfully covered up so many crimes, but, this forewoman knows what’s up as does the judge and I choose to err on the side of those closest to the process. If this stops an indictment, well, that will the the 600th one to be quashed by power, and it won’t be this young ladies fault.
@kthornton I don't think it will stop any indictments. I think it could create opportunities for Team Trump to stall more by going to court, knowing they'll lose. I think she needed to stay away from cameras, because she added nothing. We knew indictments were to be recommended, that was in the court papers. She didn't add much more other than what a swell witness Lindsey Graham was & how honest Rudy was. @JenX
@kthornton I thought she came off as too swept up in her own relevance as a juror. She was a little reckless and should have kept her mouth shut. There's a reason grand juries don't share info. It can hurt innocent witnesses or those who are vulnerable to attacks. @JenX
@GottaLaff @kthornton The foreperson has been ill advised. If she really took her responsibility seriously she wouldn’t have gushed like a teenager spreading juicy gossip. It was completely unprofessional and disrespectful to Fanni Willis. There was a reason Willis fought to keep the court docs sealed. Maybe this foreperson’s childish enthusiasm for the limelight was part of it. I just hope this won’t be weaponized in some way by Team Insurrection.
@JenX @GottaLaff she is certainly turning up the heat. one way or another. love it. either freaking do it, or tell us why you can’t.
@GottaLaff I hope she enjoyed her 15 minutes of fame. I’m not a lawyer but I cringed at the interviews. I assume there’s lots of blow-back.
@GottaLaff
Who has promised her what to do this to potentially royally screw up this case?
There is a list of so many people who would do anything to make sure the orange one gets away once again.
@SRMiracle Not everything is a conspiracy. Sometimes people act recklessly on their own.
@GottaLaff imagine if a trump judge hears the cases and decides to throw out any charges bc of this lady’s actions. Although unlikely for a regular judge, nothing is too crazy for a trump appointed one to do
@twitterreject It would be appealed and the case would continue.
@GottaLaff if the case had to be moved to a different location or finding a new jury, that could add more delays to a case that will probably never finish bc of all the delays he’s going to try. We don’t need to give him more things to appeal or use to delay justice
@twitterreject We don't know that anything even close to that would happen. Why not just wait and see? If the judge feels she did something that negatively affects the case, he'll say something and gag-order the other jurors. This isn't THE grand jury anyway. That's still coming. This was a "special" GJ. The delays will be overcome, but they will be annoying if they do happen. Plus, it's a state case, not federal.
@GottaLaff I’m not too worried about it I was just thinking it would be crazy if the entire case fell apart just bc one woman couldn’t stay quiet
@twitterreject Oh good. Yeah, but that won't happen.
@GottaLaff so why do they need 2 grand juries? If this one recommends charges, wouldn’t the prosecutor use that recommendation to indict? Why do they need another one?

@twitterreject No, not the same. This one can't issue indictments. It "was authorized to “investigate any and all facts and circumstances relating directly or indirectly to alleged violations of the laws of the State of Georgia.” It was granted power to subpoena evidence and witness testimony — though not the ability to issue indictments."

It helped her get testimony on the record, evidence, make decisions about whether to press charges.

@GottaLaff so this special one had more powers but not the power to indict? Seems like a giant waste of time to not just give them that power to indict and just have 1 jury
@twitterreject Not more powers, different powers. You need to understand the legal system, I guess. It was hardly a “giant waste of time.” It gives Willis more credibility and information that she needs to bring indictments.
@GottaLaff I know our system isn’t based on logic or speed, but instead of convening 2 separate grand juries at different times, each with different powers, it seems like it would make more sense to just have 1 and give them the powers & responsibility of both. It’s not like they are investigators that are out in the world pursuing witnesses and leads. They simply hear the evidence and compile a report with recommendations or indictments. Just seems like overkill to have 2 but I’m just observing
@GottaLaff and… media interviewing her should be held responsible as well.
