Good morning #medlibs and all academic #librarians.

I understand that the Library Accessibility Alliance Action Committees is going to discuss at their next meeting
- #accessibility for health (ie COVID safety and inclusion of library users with disabilities)
- #CognitiveAccessibility

These points expand on "traditional" aspects of e-resources accessibility, like access for people with limited vision or color blindness (which remain important, don't get me wrong!)

If you care about those "accessibility broadly understood" issues, and you can find someone at your place of work who is part of LAA, maybe you should share your thoughts.

Is your institution part of the Library Accessibility Alliance? That includes the Big Ten Academic Alliance, the Association of Southern Research Libraries, the Greater Western Library Alliance, the Washington Research Library Consortium, and the Ivy Plus Libraries Confederation.
