Karen SkeltonI have an Ancestry.com question: how can I determine relationship between a tree owner/home person and someone else in their tree? It's a large tree, too much to navigate through (I've tried.) And "Tree Search" by surname doesn't help show them in relation to the owner. Yes, I've Googled. Yes, I've looked at Ancestry Help Topics. Still no luck. Any ideas? #Genealogy #Ancestry

I don’t find that easy either. For ages I assumed that the tree ‘owner’ was always on the tree, but then found sometimes - they aren’t. I only twigged that when I realised people often had built more than one tree, some of which might be for in-law families, or perhaps for friends. Good luck, and do post the answer if you find out
