Today’s poem is a love poem.
@brianbilston Finally, a love poem I truly believe 🤣
@brianbilston this is the only good poem.

@brianbilston
Wasn’t that a Troggs song in the 60’s?

🎶Duvet!
You make my heart sing.
You make everything (groovet).
Duvet.🎶

@brianbilston worthy of pointy birds...
@lkebassplayer Anointy, nointy!
@brianbilston @lkebassplayer
Remix on a theme.
The pointet birds are pointet pointet.
Anoint my head, anointet-nointet.
@brianbilston I remember Steve Martin quoting from 'in dilmans grove' in 'the man with two brains', priceless nonsense comedy.
@brianbilston definitely feeling this one 💤

@brianbilston

That is definitely a la John Hegley IMO.

That's the kind of poetry I can really relate to.

@brianbilston This is my kind of poetry. 👍
@brianbilston Always and forever True too DUVET! Heheheheh awesome
@brianbilston tha has sent me back to bed - may Tuesday always be duvet appreciation day! 😃♥️
@brianbilston This poem says exactly how I felt this morning. Thank you from a Dane who loves her duvet too.
@brianbilston you’re an amazing linguist. I learn new words all the time.
@snarkysteff @brianbilston that's why we are here. That's all I have to set on the matter.

@brianbilston

I also really love it,
I want to be beneath it not above it,
It gives the warmth I covet,
But I always used a comforter,
So I think I misprounce duvet.

@brianbilston I go by "Groovet" when I'm touring on my #karaoke tours in French-speaking regions. The fans love it. Feels a bit colonial to me personally, though.

#totallyMadeUpBullshit

@brianbilston je tente une traduction.

"Couette,
Tu es tellement douillette,
Je vais rester sous toi en dessous,
Jusqu'à vendredoux."
