The number of times I've organised something or been the main point of contact for something, only to have communications addressed to my partner instead, is truly baffling to me.

- travel insurance
- flight tickets
- physical packages
- random emails to the Unpacking email address
- phone calls from our real estate's repair person

Love to be a woman in our world 🫠

@wrenegade personally when this happens, I just kind of stare at them blankly and say "You're talkin to her dude." and hope they get offended/flustered because fuck that noise.
Boggles the mind still so many haven't worked out that we're all just 'people' and you can totally just go ahead and treat everyone the same.

@ragical this is all in indirect communications so unfortunately we can't do much about it :( If I say something like "hey next time can you address this package to me or to both of us" it sounds petty to even bring up. The flight tickets and travel insurance are even more bizarre because they're automated?? How does that even happen

@wrenegade you're right that is just bizarre.. crazy we still have these shadows of what used to be, like women not even being able to have bank accounts without husband/father. Not like current day isn't rife with its own issues some way more serious than this kind of thing, but personally this small 'petty' stuff really illustrates how stupid it all is and how badly the patriarchy needs to be demolished. Like yesterday ffs.
